No seashore, yes seashells!

Here's the Seashells bracelet I made last night while at Girls' Night Out. The fishies are connected to form the base of the bracelet, with lots of seashells and a few starfish dangling from them:

*edit: the cool dangly bracelet beads (seashells, stars) are from the Glass Bead Garden. Alexis, the owner, offers the most extensive array of flower, leaf, and nature beads I have ever seen - and the customer service is awesome!

Autocrossing

So many cones, so little time! Autocrossing is all about handling and driver skill, and then about the car. You walk the course (in our region, a large parking lot is the usual venue), which is defined by orange cones. Placement shows where, and which way, to go. Trust me, if you don't walk it and pay attention beforehand, you WILL get lost! Only one car on course at a time, very safe. Our club, Great River Region, is one of the safest regions out there - we follow the national Sports Car Club of America's safety rules! And you don't need any special kind of car, just no SUV's, trucks, vans, etc. We have classes and indexing for all, to even the playing field. Come join us!
